Mardi Gras Courir were taken at about noon. In the right column, a Mardi
Gras is shown dancing on his horse and preparing to do a flip in a
ditch. Other Mardi Gras are shown sitting in a field along a rice levee
at a boudin stop. Chicken chasing in Mamou often means also chasing one
of the co-capitaines on horseback who throws the chicken as the Mardi
Gras run after him.
